Educational Background and Professional Experience
Karl Bardosh has long taught at the Tisch School of the Arts, New York University. With his profound professional accumulation, he has opened a number of cutting-edge film courses including mobile phone film courses, cultivating a large number of outstanding talents for the global film industry, and is a respected film educator.
Main Achievements
• Awards and Honors: In 2004, he won the Indian "Rose d'Or" TV Award; his work Iron and Horse was named "Best Dramatic Short Film of the Year" by the American Film Institute; in addition, he has also won major awards such as the Tony Awards and the Best Director of the New York International Independent Film Festival, and his creative strength has been highly recognized by the industry.
• Pioneering Contributions: As one of the pioneers of the concept of "mobile phone film", he first introduced this concept at the Asian Academy of Film and Television in 2007, breaking the boundaries of traditional film production. Since then, he has continued to promote mobile phone films globally, and even brought mobile phone films into the Cannes Film Festival in the form of a competition in 2019. As early as 1967, he founded the world's first television education series "Film Aesthetics" in Hungary; he also joined hands with Allen Ginsberg to create a new genre of "poetry music film", injecting new vitality into film art.

His creations cover multiple types and themes, launching avant-garde films such as Iron and Horse, Crossing the Bridge, Out of Balance, Forced March, and Styria; in 1984, he cooperated with Allen Ginsberg to create poetry music films; in 1992, he created, directed, and edited the first documentary about Beaujolais in the United States, which was broadcast in prime time on American Public Broadcasting Television for three consecutive years, with far-reaching influence.

Karl Bardosh's creative footprints are all over Europe, Asia, Brazil, Hollywood and other places. He has deeply participated in the production of many film and television works and actively promoted international film cooperation and cultural exchanges. He cooperated with Indian director Sandeep Marwah to establish a mobile phone film course at the Asian Academy of Film and Television in New Delhi, India; introduced the concept of mobile phone films to Australia and successfully held the first Australian International Film Competition Festival, continuously expanding the international influence of film art.
