Tan Fei

Tan Fei, born in September 1974, graduated from the Chinese Department of Sichuan University with a bachelor's degree in Chinese Language and Literature. He is a producer, supervisor, planner, and director of the China Film Critics Society. As one of the most well-known and influential planners, film critics, and public opinion leaders in China's film and television industry, he is known as the "intellectual of the film and television circle". He is committed to producing high-quality works with commercial characteristics, humanistic core, and social visibility.


His planned films include The Long River (Changjiang Tu), Mother Is Happy, Road to Black to Fan, Beauty, etc.; supervised films include Rock Dog, Huge Transaction, Father's Three Weddings; planned TV series include Kangxi's Incognito Tour, My Whole Life, Wu Long Chuang Qing Guan; produced TV series include Food on the Tip of the Tongue and Hidden Marriage Diary.


He has published critical works such as Atypical Entertainment, Intellectuals in the Film and Television Industry, Arrogance and Impetuosity, Tan Fei Talks About Film and Television, and translated works such as Biography of Leonardo DiCaprio.
