New York, July 19, 2025 — The International Institute of Film Science and Arts (IIFSA) is pleased to announce its official induction as an Institutional Member of the Society for Cinema and Media Studies (SCMS), one of the world's leading scholarly organizations dedicated to cinema and media research and teaching (CMStudies).

Membership Significance

As an SCMS institutional member, IIFSA gains access to a creative and academic community made up of leading universities, research centers, and film institutes worldwide. Membership entitles IIFSA to:

  • Feature its profile, programs, and research initiatives within SCMS’s institutional network listings,
