The 2nd Astar Award – Global Film Awards Ceremony (2026)

The International Institute of Film Science and Arts (IIFSA) is pleased to announce that the 2nd Astar Award Global Film Awards Ceremony will be held in late August 2026 in Spain.

As an international award dedicated to the advancement of cinema and the arts, the Astar Award recognizes outstanding achievements in film creation, directing, storytelling, visual expression, and cinematic innovation.

The 2026 ceremony will bring together:

• Filmmakers and production teams from around the world

• Scholars and professionals in film and visual arts

• Representatives from cultural and artistic institutions

• Emerging creators and cross-disciplinary talents

to celebrate excellence in global filmmaking and the enduring power of cinematic expression.
