At the just-concluded Astar Award Ceremony of the International Institute of Film Science and Arts (IIFSA), The Seed of the Sacred Fig, a work by Iranian director and screenwriter Mohammad Rasoulof, won the Astar Best Screenplay Award.As one of the important creators in the international film industry, Mohammad Rasoulof has received high praise on the international stage many times, and this Astar Award honor once again confirms his outstanding contributions in the fields of screenwriting and film narration.


  In his acceptance speech, Rasoulof said: "I would like to thank the recognition from the Astar Award. The screenplay is the soul of a film; it is not only the beginning of a story, but also a bridge between the audience and the creator.
