Among them, cultural awards are a major highlight of this year's awards ceremony. A total of four honors have been established to collectively recognize representative works in cultural exploration, cultural inheritance, and the expression of cultural identity. These works showcase the uniqueness of various countries' cultures through diverse narrative methods, promote cross-cultural understanding and communication, and embody the profound significance of films in the cultural dimension.

Academic and Special Honor Awards focus on "behind-the-scenes forces" and "lifetime contributors". Academic awards recognize achievements and individuals who have made outstanding contributions in film theory, technical research, and educational promotion, while Special Honor Awards are granted to representative figures and institutions that have played a key role in the long-term development of the industry. The establishment of these two types of awards highlights the emphasis on the foundation of the industry and academic support, making the award ceremony not only focus on artistic achievements but also fully reflect concern for the overall development of the industry.

As an academic awards ceremony jointly initiated by international film education and academic institutions, the Astar Award Awards Ceremony will continue to uphold the core concepts of culture, academics, and technology, promoting the in-depth integration of film art and technology. In the future, the ceremony will adhere to the principles of objective and fair evaluation, build an international exchange platform, promote the linkage between academic research and film practice, and contribute to the common development of global film art and science.
